The tournament will take place at 5th and 6th March 2005 (Saturday and Sunday), on a location provided by PlatoPlus. Plato+ is an internet cafe, located in the center of Belgrade, SCG. 160 Counter Strike players (32 teams) are expected to take part in the tournament. Also over 1000 spectators, representatives of media and journalists.
The tourney is "invitation only" for the 16 best teams in SCG (4Glory, KGB.Team, etc.) - comptetitors are invited to participate in the tournament considering their previous results, knowledge and skills. The other 16 teams will take part in the tournament by "first come first serve" pay-to-play system. Teams from all over the Balkans - Macedonia (echo & ts), Bulgaria (XPD & Club35), BIH (noxicus) confirmed their participation. Other teams from countries like Greece (24x7 & Guardians), Slovenia (Geek org.) and Hungary (xDk) were invited too, but won't take part due to different reasons.
This tournament is a qualifier and preparation for the future events that Global Gaming Gathering will organize. The events will be held in Belgrade, SCG and will be with very big prizes (over 20.000 Euro). Many of the biggest worldwide companies like Gigabyte, CoolerMaster, Soft Trading, Intel & ATI will sponsor these events and the organizers hope that they will attract players from all over Europe.
