Hello boyz and girlz.

NOTE: Ima implikacija nasilja i smrti. Ako imate "slabost" na to, nemojte čitati.

Cheers.

Next to the seat of king stood Eric, the personal Knight of the King Aldar. Their connection dwelled deep within the roots of friendship, far beyond the King and his Guardian. They were friends since their early childhood, since Aldar's mother passed away; Eric embraced the sorrow of a young boy, who shielded himself against the world, paving his way to the forbidden methods: to bring his beloved mother back to life.
It wasn’t before he reached twenty one in age that he realized dead are dead – and there is no way to bring them back. Revelation he was presented changed him; his motives became clear – he wanted to be the King that will erase all the pain from the world – and he used that motive to justify all he has done in his life.

Eric watched his beloved friend dwell deeper and deeper into the darkness day by day; he was sorrowed, yet he knew … he couldn’t change anything. He knew that every soul chooses its own path of life and that there is no point in changing it – it was indeed a painful resolution.

- “My King, we got reports from the Upper Kingdom” Eric said; his voice was valuably deep and it echoed in pain and agony “The same killings occurred again.”
- “You need not to call me King when we are alone, dear friend” Aldar answered; he was smiling, gazing towards the serious face of his best friend – troubled face “I am aware of the killings. Still, it troubles me that no one was able to stop the killer.”
- “It is said that there is man and a woman, clothed in black robes, killing only those with red eyes. As I recall, they are those who escaped terrible disaster that occurred twenty years ago. Could it be that someone was left behind in the village and they came for revenge?”
- “Everything is possible at the moment” Aldar responded “Revenge is a powerful tool to justify one’s actions. I know it far too well.”
- “My Lordship, are you alright?” Eric said, kneeling before Aldar.
- “I am tired of this Lordship thing, Eric. Call me Aldar, for Aldar is my name. Leave the kingship behind us when we are alone.”
- “Forgive me” Eric said, standing up “I am simply used to it.”
- “It cannot be helped. However, we must do something about these killings. Send out First, Third and Ninth battalion to the frontline towards the South. Order them to capture enemy. However, if they resist, order them to kill.”
- “Yes, my Lor- I mean, yes, Aldar.”
- “You will never change” King laughed for reasons unknown to Eric.

Eric left King’s chambers and moved towards the eastern wing of the castle, where the battle battalions were stated. Eleven battalions, each carrying seven warriors, were the pride of the Great Kingdom. Their might was known even at the ends of the world – no one has ever escaped their hand.

Eldor and Alora were walking through the thick woods when they encountered upon abandoned child; she was merely five years old, with golden hair and saddened, blue eyes. She was crying, leaned onto the nearby tree, dropping her sorrow out through the tears.

- “Are you here all by yourself?” Alora asked, caressing the child gently.
- “My mommy … she … she said she’ll come back for me. But she didn’t. She didn’t. I’m alone. All alone.”

Alora’s eyes got teary, but she wiped them away quickly, allowing not Eldor to see it. She picked up a child, whispering into her ear “Everything will be fine. We will find your mother for you.”
Little girl smiled, hugging Alora strongly around her neck – Alora knew it was do or die now, they firstly must find child’s mother and then proceed with the initial plans.

- “You are indeed gentle for someone who has been taken over by the darkness” Eldor said when they left the spot where little girl cried.
- “She’s just like us, brother. Left alone … without a hope. I couldn’t allow her as well to surrender to the darkness. I am not sure whether she’d survive.”
- “You survived.”
- “Only because of you … it was solely you who gave me strength to fight when all seemed hopeless; she doesn’t have anyone. She’s all by herself.”
- “There will come a day when saving the others will be cast aside, sister. You must know that.”
- “I pray that that day never comes.”

They entered the nearby village; it was placed north of the woods and it seemed to be farming village. People were stated in fields and they were surprised to see outlanders come here; yet, when they recognized black robes and red eyes, they began running away in fear – terror spread through the village. Everyone knew who two strangers were – two murderers sent by the very God to execute all the sinners.

- “Their fear is beyond control” Eldor said, smiling “Smell of terror is strong here.”
- “We will never find her mother in this mess” Alora said, moving her head around, trying to find someone who could possibly be this child’s mother.

Moment later, woman enrobed in slave clothing that was ripped began running towards them. Her eyes were teary but still, Eldor could see it – red eyes always glow in the dark. Eldor pushed away Alora, alongside the child that fell head-straight. Child’s head began bleeding heavily, yet it didn’t matter to Eldor. His heart was consumed yet again – darkness was deeply rooted within the foundations of his very being. He drew out his sword, engulfing it in darkness and marched towards woman. Yet, woman passed right through him, moving towards the child. She drew her knife out and leaped towards the child; moment before she stabbed the child in her head, Alora leaped backwards and hit woman in her ribs.

Woman fell down, rolling over the wet grass and hitting the tree behind them. She got up quickly, shaking off and preparing to strike again. Alora took defensive stance; yet, Eldor rushed pass by her with his rage filled to the maximum, followed by the darkness behind him. Countless shadows copied his movements, followed his desire to kill … and to kill only.

When woman saw behind the shadows, the eyes glowing red and the power raging within the heart of corruption, she began trembling in the terror – she knew very well who it was – who came to the world to rid it of the light and the dark – to rid it of the life. Sword cut her head off within a moment; blood soaked grass and earth beneath her and her body fell lifeless on the ground. Her head was knocked away from her – but the terror was still there, even in her death. Her eyes and mouth were wide open and her cut neck was bleeding heavily. Yet, Eldor did not care. His body was entirely under the control of anger; it was engulfed in shadows, burning harder than the very first flame. He rushed towards the village, terrorizing everything and everyone within it – it was a fate far worse than the death. Screams echoed in the sky, petrifying very life that lived within it. Clouds clouded the sun and the world turned from the day into the night. There were no lights to show the path of justice – only darkness, empowering everything and everyone.

Alora rushed towards Eldor, throwing herself at him; yet, she was knocked away, sent into oblivion of past. While flying, she yelled “Eldor” but her brother did not hear – he kept killing innocent, he kept depriving children of their mothers and, at the very end, their own life. Everyone suffered before they died – everyone was bound to experience pain that dwells deep within Eldor’s heart as if it was their own – Eldor called it “justified punishment” – sinners were to be purged in the name of pain, not in the name of God.

- “Heed me you puny creatures!” Eldor yelled from the depths of his voice: it echoed throughout the entire world and everyone was able to hear it “I am here to purge the world of the sinners in the name of my pain! I am here to engulf the world in the terror! All those who oppose me shall suffer so that they beg for death! You shall feel my wrath! You shall remember what the world had done! Why are we who we are! YOU SHALL REMEMBER!”

His body turned back the way it was; he fell down, on the blood-soaked ground, with his eyes closed and his mind empty. Alora rushed back towards him, with her head bleeding from the hit, and took him in her arms. She caressed him gently, swaying him left and right, singing him a lullaby he once loved. Lullaby of brother’s love, of a brother that had sworn to protect the one he loves even if it means killing the entire world. His sins condemned him at the end and he was killed.

Alora wished not for the same fate to cross paths with Eldor; regardless of what he did, she loved him. Yes, she loved him beyond the love of a man or a woman – or even a child. She loved him with the very source of love, one untainted with anything – everlasting and ever-bounding.
Eldor began opening his eyes slowly; he coughed few times, leaning onto his arms to get up.

- “Why Eldor?” Alora asked; her eyes were teary and they were blue, the way they were long time ago.
- “Because it is something I must do Alora” Eldor said, getting up.
- “But … those people … they lived in peace … they did no harm to us … those children … still sinless and … and loving … how could you brother?! HOW COULD YOU?” Alora began hitting Eldor with her fists in his legs. Eldor gazed towards her with pity above all.
- “No one is innocent, Alora” Eldor said “The world drenches in sins and darkness. Pain is everlasting and it is never erased. Children are bound to become the sinners and the only redemption they can be offered is death in sufferings.”
- “You condemned someone simply because you believe they will turn into monsters?” Alora asked, sobbing “That is not what you told me you want.”
- “I want to purge this world of sinners or of any chance that they might become one. One day, when this all is said and done, you will thank me. For now, hate me, despise me, breed the hatred and willingness to kill me. It is your path and your path alone Alora. I will never harm you to the very end … for you are my sister. The only blood I reckon of that stood by my side for as long as I have lived. You told me that it was I who gave you strength when everything seemed hopeless … no … it was you who gave me strength to get up when I was on my knees. And solely because of you I shall purge this world of sinners … so that you can live in eternal peace.”
- “Killing everyone won’t solve anything … I prefer world filled with sinners rather than the world of emptiness. Understand Eldor, no one shares the same ideals. You cannot force something onto this world. Sooner or later, someone stronger than you will show up and kill you … I wish for that not to happen.”
- “And I will bid them welcome when they come” Eldor said, smiling “I am already dead Alora. Perhaps not in body – but I am dead in both, heart and soul. I am erased from the memories, I am purged of the human side of mine – I am the hollowness itself, destruction bound to be destroyer of the world. Hungry hunger for food as I hunger for death … it is our sin. Condemn me for what I have done … it is the only thing you can do.”

Dear sister … I hope that, one day, you will understand. World can never be a peaceful place unless there is someone who can die for peace. They must be destroyed before they can be created again … be patient, everything shall come into its place, sooner or later. We are condemned to be the pride of the dark, but you have refused your path so easily. Give me strength to be alike you … give me strength to fight this urge … stand … stand by my side and be the one I truly love and adore.
