Da napomenem da imam informacije samo o gaming sceni u Sarajevu , pa bih zamolio ako ima neko iz Mostara , Bijeljine , Krupe i ostalih gradova da mi se javi na msn da popricamo malo da neispadne da samo Sarajevo spominjem .

Introduction
When I talk to people , and as we get into the conversation deeper I receive this question : “Where are you from”? And I give them the answer : “I’m from Bosnia.” The thing that follows is : “Ehm , sorry but where is that?” I hope that’s going to change , because our gaming scene is growing more and more every day. Our clans are training hard , and hope that people in the world will recognize them. And yes I forgot to mention something , if you are ever going to visit Bosnia , don’t leave it until you try our chevapchichi , cause that’s one of the best things here in Bosnia . Ok , let’s move on to the next chapter .
How it all Began
It all began in June 1999th when Counter Strike was released for the first time. First internet caffe in which Counter Strike was played was MLT , and after that one of now retired Counter Strike player bichar ( known as Ogi ) brought Counter Strike to another internet caffe called XoniX. More and more people lets say “fell in love” with the game and started to be more serious about Counter Strike. Soon the first clan was made , named Noxicus whose founders were Cage , bU and bichar. Some time later knew clan was borned. Those were triple6ers . First tournament was held in XoniX internet caffe that I mentioned before . It was 3 vs 3 tournament , whose winners were Cage and his team under a funny tag “Teletubies” .All of this before was about Sarajevo . First tournament that was serious was held in Mostar in 2002 . The reward was 2000KM , that’s around 1000 € . TNT clan won the first place and Noxicus got the 2nd place on that tournament . Next serious tournament was held in Sarajevo , in a place called Phoenix , that was also the name of the tournament “Phoenix Tournament”. Reward was 1500KM , around 700 € . Winner of this event was Noxicus . Its worth mentioning that later on in Mostar there were a lot of tournaments , with rewards and stuff , so Mostar is like the place where most of the tournaments are held. In June 2004 our gamers made a mix team and went to QCPL , and that’s the first time our gamers met with some of the most famous clans and players in the world . The ambition that our gamers had back in those days sure showed of nowadays . Our gamers are breaking in the world scene , and we all hope that we will only go forward to success .
Current Situation
Nowadays , our scene has grown a lot and LAN tournaments are being organized all over the country . More and more clans are being made that I hope will one day grow to the size of giants like some of the most famous clans in the world . We have license for ESWC that was held in Sarajevo for the first time and the results were stunning. More than 30 clans have made their way to Sarajevo a main city of Bosnia where ESWC was held . Those few days of gaming were amazingly good . By the end of the first day all of the gamers knew the names of other people that were there . That shows how our people are civilized . The winner of this event was clan named KKA from Banja Luka . The second was clan Restricted from Mostar , and the third one was Noxicus from Sarajevo. Everyone hoped that Restricted or Noxicus will win the event , but KKA surprised all .
KKA went to Paris on the main ESWC event . They’ve won one match , what was good for us , as we all crossed our fingers in hope that they will win . That’s about ESWC.
A few days ago , our Bosnia team played versus Greece in qualifying match for the Clan Base Nations Cup .Unfortunately the luck wasn’t on our side . We lost the match with the result 16 : 14 for Greece . Since Bosnia is small country , we have , well lets say it like this , “small connections” as if weak connections . Our team played marvelously against them and we prayed for our players in hope that they will win and the world will finnaly hear about Bosnia and the quality gamers that we have . We lost but our hope still lives in us and our gamers .
In warcraft , we didn’t have some exclusive worldwide success , but we have some very good players . They quit playing warcraft because they saw that they will not accomplish anything , since we didn’t have the license for warcraft 3 , although the Bosnia Warcraft 3 Nation Cup was held in same room where Counter Strike ESWC was held . The winner of this Nation Cup was entei a fine player with high skills . We shouldn’t forget some very good players like seYo , numma and others .
Final Words
There is nothing more to say.Some day we will be world famous , some day young gamers from all over the world will be writing the name of our players in their books in school when they are bored , some day we will achieve what other countries have achieved long time ago .
